This is a tight exercise in budgeting, thinking and execution done with The Marketing Chefs’ Tricia Ryan, a client with boundless energy. Riceworks is a slightly up-market, definitely healthier, alternative for snackers.
This promotion, Recipeworks, encouraged contestants to submit recipes for a cookbook. The twist? Riceworks had to be among the ingredients. The prize? Contestants could get published as a food author – the first step to celebrity chefdom. The profits went to charity. The twist, prize and profits became relevant reasons to blog, tweet, facebrag and email the client’s database about the event.
